The Science Undergraduate Research Experience Journal (SURE-J, ISSN 2990-8167) is a high-quality, international, open access, online, double blind reviewed publication which publishes all aspects of undergraduate research in the broad Sciences. The main emphasis of the journal is on primary research articles written by the undergraduate student detailing their final year research project.

The journal’s aim is to be the leading international journal for disseminating undergraduate research in the Sciences. To achieve this SURE-J takes an inclusive, interdisciplinary and international approach and includes all aspects of undergraduate science research. The journal is open access; free of charge for all readers and is underpinned by a flexible Creative Commons licence whereby the authors retain ownership of their articles.

SURE-J is published in digital format only, and therefore papers include a variety of media elements including audio and visual files, a range of image formats and interactive hyperlinks to websites and other online resources. The journal’s online platform facilitates an integrated submission, review and publication approach. Each published corresponding author will receive access to an online, personalised dashboard that enables them to track the impact and reach of their publication. The journal will be permanently hosted on the institutional repository of the Technological University Dublin, Dublin, Ireland and will always be available free of charge to readers.

The ISSN Centre at the National Library of Ireland has now assigned an ISSN to the SURE Journal (ISSN 2990-8167).
