This research is significant as it provides evidence, that AI can be implemented to drastically improve efficiency of hospitals, reduce costs, and improve the health and well-being of patients. The goal is to achieve change, further investment and focus directed on the transparent development and integration of AI to reduce 30-day hospital readmissions, allowing Sláintecare to transform hospitals in Ireland as they plan and strategize to reform Ireland’s health and social care system.
