SURE 2025

The Next SURE Network undergraduate research conference, SURE 2026, will take place in Atlantic Technological University in Autumn 2026.

The national SURE conference committee took a break in 2025, in order to focus our attention on an exciting new initiative being brought to you for the first time in Ireland by members of the SURE Network committee. Ireland’s inaugural Posters in Parliament (Póstaeir san Oireachtas) event will take place on the 12th Nov 2025 in the Oireachtas, Dublin. Please check here for updates on this exciting new event. This event is modeled on the prestigious  annual Posters in Parliament event, coordinated by the team from the Institute of Advanced Teaching and Learning (IATL) in the University of Warwick, UK.

If you are an undergraduate researcher, don’t forget, you can still publish your research in Irelands only expertly reviewed undergraduate research journal for STEM (SURE-J). Full details and a detailed template are available here. SURE-J is an open access journal, registered with DOAJ, now in its seventh annual edition.  The closing date for submissions to the December edition was June 2025. However submissions are welcome all year around and will be entered into the 2026 edition if they miss the deadline for 2025.
