Abstracts submissions have now closed for Posters in the European Parliament and successful applicants will be notified by the lead organisation from the University of Oldenburg in mid-July.

246 Submissions were received from 19 countries around Europe for 65 poster spots in the European Parliament on the 10th November 2026. This event is being co-hosted by ATU in conjunction with four other EU universities, led by the Posters in Brussels team in the University of Oldenburg.

Many thanks to all Irish applicants (and their supervisors) who submitted abstracts from 10 HEI around Ireland. The two tier review process was double blinded and all submitted abstracts underwent a comprehensive national review process with 7 members of the Irish SURE Network,  prior to entering into a final stage review process with a pan European team.

Details of the successful Irish applicants will be available on the SURE Network website in late August with training to commence in Sept/Oct.

any queries in the meantime please contact Posters in Brussels Irish and ATU lead, Dr. Therese Montgomery at therese.montgomery@atu.ie
